FILM ORIENTATION
At its core, PaperCut Productions is a film
oriented company. With over a decade
of combined experience, PaperCut has deep
understanding of the film industry. Showing extensive experience in the field
of documentary filmmaking with the independent hit, Tierra Santa: Honduras, which heard buzz from Washington, D.C. to
Montana. PaperCut has also worked to create industrial films with companies
including Stillwater Mining.
PAPERCUT PROCESS
The ‘PaperCut Process’ takes an idea from
concept to paper with indepth script writing. Whether it be working with others
to build their ideas or a PaperCut Original, the end result is a full, rich
script. With over six original scripts shot, there continues to be growth with
even more up comming scripts.
Once pre-production elements are completed, it is an opportunity to really shine. Using both cinematography and photography expertise, the team takes ideas and gives them life. Be it creating an atmosphere and pacing in fiction or capturing that perfect moment in a documentary, PaperCut can deliver a solid picture every time.
But PaperCut doesn’t stop after the shooting, in fact, post-production is where the film comes together. Using the newest editing software, the post-production team is able to effectively work on different elements of a film symotaneously to create a flow that comes together flawlessly. We have extensive knowledge of both major post platforms (FinalCut Pro, Adobe Suite). With experience in creative musical scoring, we match our music with the film's style and feel, whether it be our film, or an outside project. PaperCut is able to keep editing, special effects, and music all within the company, without outsourcing, ensuring the final product be as continuous as possible.
When the film is finally finished, we make sure that the film is seen by people who need to see it. This includes individual DVDs, company films, on Television or even the big screen. If it has an audience, we will cater to them.
